CORIA

Different archeological sites indicate that the age of the settlements in the area may date back to approximately 300,000 BC (end of the Acheulean Age, aka the Stone Age ). The Vettones founded the ancient Caura between the VIII and VI century BC.

It has a wall with 20 towers and 4 doors, and an impressive cathedral started in the XV century.

Coria is also the entrance to the Sierra de Gata.
